This time of year is usually super tough for getting workouts in. We are all juggling holiday parties, end of year work commitments, preparing for holidays, not to mention that overwhelming urge to curl up in sweatpants on the couch.
Yet, it is incredibly powerful to start the new year with a fitness base. Imagine getting up early before the kids are up to train on Christmas? For me, this is so empowering. I feel like a woman on a mission.
Last year, Robin Arzon, who I follow on instagram @RobinNYC, kicked off a December challenge in which she ran at least 3 miles everyday for the 31 days of December.
On instagram, she recently announced that the challenge is back, “Sweat doesn’t melt, it stokes a fire. The December Challenge is back. #3for31. 3 miles. Every day. 31 days.”
I think this challenge is genius and I will be participating! Despite battling a cold on day 1, I got my first #3by31 workout in last night at 9pm on the treadmill.
